Great
Great
Well deserved
If u can't find it, it's in your newsstand
Please create another update ASAP. Since I updated it I can't access the app AT ALL.
I bought lots of the discounted issues. Many of the topics just recycle anyway. Problem is they won't load to view. The application shuts down whenever I want to read one. That pretty much ruins the experience for me. I do NOT recommend this app. Trying it an hour later… It works?? So what's up with that. Not an update problem, as I've kept all apps up-to-date. When it works, it's great, when it doesn't…. mehh!
$60 a year!!! and I can't download issues that I subscribed to when my subscription ends.
So expense and more than the actual magazine! Dumb.
I love running but not enough to pay $60 a year to read Runners World!
Well deserved
Enough said.
Awful!!!
I have no problem buying a subscription. But the electronic subscription is TRIPLE the cost of the paper subscription! How does that make sense? They save money with the electronic by not having to print and no postage. But yet they charge more? What are they smoking? And you must be brainwashed if you give this app a positive rating.
Noting interesting
Why can't iTunes at the very least make this correction? This app is not free. It costs almost sixty dollars a year!
Reading the magazine on the new iPad is disappointing because it looks pixelated and doesn't take advantage of the higher screen resolution.
Not free - bait and switch - waste of time - don't download
Since I can't review the app, I'll just give all the content 1 star!!! Let me hide the app in a folder at least!
Free mag? No. Old mags free? No. Subscription trial? No. Charge u a leg and a arm? YES!!!!!!!!!
$59.99 for a year. Really?
I am a subscriber to Runners World Magazine. I can't believe that the electronic magazine is double the price of the print version. Runners World need to open their eyes and realize this is way too overpriced. Offer the e-mag for the same price as print and you will have a strong following. Anyone thinking about subscribing just sign up for the print magazine and you'll get it for less then $20 a year.
No one is paying these rediculous prices for a digital magazine. I get the physical copy for MUCH cheaper. Get a clue!
It is a rip off, dont download unless u r willing to pay for subscription :(:(:(
Runnersworld what are you thinking? Here in USA a 2 year subscription mailed to your door is only 25 bucks! A dollar an issue and I have the magazine. This is a digital copy and so much more money??? Why???
People really think someone will give their magazine away for free? The APP is free but like 95% of the magazines in the world there is a subscription price and the description spells this out for the ones who actually take the time to read it. The content is great and there's nothing better than being able to read multiple issues on a single device. For all runners of every level this is a must have!
The title says it all. Don't download. Maybe they'll get the point.
Nothing is free..I immediately deleted it after seeing that paid subscriptions were required.
Do not download this. I thought this was a promotional offer. No, just an ad. No thanks.
First off, you should be able to see issue highlights. Article titles... Etc. Second, the pricing is ridiculous.
Others are correct, once you download they hit you up for a paid subscription. Nothing here is free. Shame on you Runners World!
Who the hell would charge $6.99 for an issue of a magazine to read it on a tiny screen? I can't see anybody actually paying for this. And the app said it was free, but it's not. This has to be the worst app I've seen yet.
This is not a free app!! Once you download it and open it, it takes you to a page to purchase a subscription. One magazine is 6.99!!! Really?? What a joke!! False advertising
This app keeps crashing. I can't even view what I paid for.
Only idiot would pay for this
Not sure I understand their pricing structure.
It's just a scan of the magazine. And you can't click on a page in the contents and have it jump to that section. The text quality is horrible on the iPhone's screen. And price is dumb when compared to the physical magazine, which is so much cheaper. You'd get a better reading experience from just taking photos of the magazine and making a PDF.
I'm sticking with the hard copy vs the overpriced app subscription.
It says free, when actually is not
I would love to download issues for $0.99 a piece, but when you can get a physical magazine year's subscription for $20, why would I pay $70 to get the digital version?! Once you reduce the prices, I will start purchasing them. Until then, I will not be downloading ANY magazines from the Newstand.
Poor app
I don't mind paying for content but these subscriptions are overpriced, especially for digital content. I can't imagine why the app-delivered mag should cost more then a paper issue. It's also irritating to have the app labeled FREE to find there isn't even a complimentary trial. Rip off.
These issues are far more expensive than just picking up the magazine in hard copy. This an ok magazine but not worth $7 a pop.
Maybe someone can explain to me why this mag along with the rest of the mags associated with newsstand are so overpriced. I have a paper subscription for runners world US and it only cost a little over 20 bucks for the whole year. your gonna tell me that paper and postage is less expensive than… DOWNLOADING? BS. And by the way, why don't they have all the titles available for both iPad & the iPhone. I would consider subscribing to a few US titles if the price were FAIR!!
It's like any other magazine people, if you like It you buy it plain and simple. All this magazines offer subscriptions. If you are use to getting Magazines you know what to spect otherwise stop spec ting to get things for free...
What a scam
Bug
This is just an app that lets you purchase issues and subscriptions. There's only one free issue.
